About Me

My Work Life

Revenue growth has been the common thread throughout my career. I've been fortunate to help grow technology companies through direct sales, channel partnerships, and strategic alliances. Along the way, one lesson has remained constant: sustainable growth begins by creating successful customers.

My work focuses on delivering profitable, durable growth by aligning how businesses create, convert, and retain revenue.

Every successful business begins with the same question: Who are we uniquely built to serve? When that answer is clear, the business sharpens. Products solve the right problems. Marketing becomes more precise. Pricing reflects value. Customers stay. Growth becomes intentional instead of accidental. That's where enduring companies are built.

The work begins long before a contract is signed. Customer fit is discovered, not assumed. Revenue is a team sport. When sales, marketing, product, customer success, and leadership rally around the same understanding of the customer, collaboration improves. Decisions become clearer. Execution becomes aligned. Accountability becomes shared.

That's the wood behind the arrow.

That philosophy has shaped every stage of my career. Over four decades, I've helped build and scale more than $70 million in annual recurring revenue by improving how businesses acquire, serve, and retain customers. The work has included building partnership ecosystems, integrating technologies into open platforms, leading strategic transformations, and helping guide Loudeye Technology through its IPO and growth to a $1 billion market capitalization. It also became the foundation for my book, The Art of Sales Discovery.

After four decades, the conclusion is remarkably simple. Businesses don't outperform because they sell more. They outperform because they understand their customer better than anyone else.

- Know your customer.

- Align the business.

- Execute relentlessly.

Growth takes care of itself.
